16. April bis 8.Mai 67.Frühlingsfest auf dem Cannstatter Wasen in Bad Cannstadt

Das Stuttgarter Frühlingsfest ist ein auf dem "Cannstatter Wasen" zwischen Mitte April und Anfang Mai stattfindendes Volksfest im Stuttgarter Stadtbezirk Bad Cannstatt. Es ist flächenmäßig kleiner als das herbstliche Cannstatter Volksfest (und wird deshalb gelegentlich auch als "Kleiner Wasen" bezeichnet), dauert aber, wegen des erhöhten Wetterrisikos seit Mitte der 1990er Jahre 3 Wochen. Auf dem Stuttgarter Frühlingsfest kann man häufig neuentwickelte Fahrattraktionen erleben. Im Unterschied zum Cannstatter Volksfest gibt es auf dem Stuttgarter Frühlingsfest stets eine Looping-Achterbahn, allerdings wird nur das etwas kleinere 47 Meter-Riesenrad aufgebaut. Das Stuttgarter Frühlingsfest wird samstags mit einem Fassanstich des 1. Bürgermeisters eröffnet
